This is most likely bullshit, but it did get me thinking about the super-shocking end to Civil War.

Remember all that talk of Joss Whedon walking into the big Civil War planning meeting for like ten minutes and coming up with the PERFECT ending? Well, what if that ending…

(POSSIBLE SPOILERS, I GUESS, MAYBE, IF WHEDON’S AN IDIOT)

…involves Steve Rogers and Tony Stark trading places? So Steve becomes Iron Man and Tony becomes Captain America?

The more I think about it, the dumber it sounds. But hey, that’s what blogs are for. And it does get me to seriously pondering exactly what Whedon’s big contribution was, and how it will play in the context of the larger story.

My money’s on Captain America biting the big one at this point, but I hope I’m wrong–that just seems lame to me.
