I made this a separate post — rather than responding in the comments — because I just wanted to say how very impressed I am with how swiftly and amazingly the internets mobilized on this. I saw Gail Simone’s missive on Newsarama and The Beat and Husband Jeff caught it over at PvP. It’s everywhere, which is awesome, and the comments and outpouring of support from the comics blogosphere (and beyond) is really lovely to behold. It’s just nice to see the intarweb being used so effectively for good.
