I opened up the brain and let random bits of my trip to Germany fall out – I did it at MySpace, and rather than repost it here, I’ll just redirect you there. I keep thinking of random things I forgot about, so there will likely be a third post on completely random facts and snippets.
did you find/visit any geekery shops? do they have comic shops, toy stores, etc?
That’s one of the things I forgot to mention – I couldn’t find one to visit. Phone books are a rarity apparently, comminicating the concept of “comic shop” difficult, and the one time I saw one, it was as we whizzed by it in a taxi, never to stop, nor return that way again. sigh.
I did however hit a lot of music and DVD stores. The geekiest I got was buying Clooney’s Failsafe remake on DVD (hooray!) and some German hip hop (good, but not as good as the hip hop group I actually went looking for, but couldn’t find.)
Everything else was World Cup-a-licious.
Looks like fun!
