Harry Potter Spoilorz Haxxorz
Jul 16Top story, right now on Digg:
Digg Users, Please Do Not Submit Harry Potter 7 Spoilers. Seriously.
Teh intrahnettes is going APESHIT with worries over the Harry Potter spoilers. Okay, maybe not the WHOLE internet, but at least the corners I frequent.
Hell, there’s even been at least one strange highly-publicized set of alleged spoilers “revealed.”
So if you know what’s going to happen, and you want to be hateful, Digg is probably your best bet. Good luck.
Remy 'n' Harry
Jul 13Patton Oswalt is hilarious. He’s also a bona fide geek — during my Bay Area livin’ days, I once spotted him perusing the floor at WonderCon.
This summer, he’s the voice of rat chef Remy in Ratatouille, which I love, love, LOVED. It made me want a plush rat, which I never thought would happen. (Although I do own a plush mouse — the lavender one from Spirited Away. He’s cute, too.)
Anyway, please watch this, which shows us Patton’s historical meeting with none other than Harry Potter.

I am, naturally, disappointed in this score.
Posted in honor of Embrace Your Geekness Day, which I think anyone reading this website should get OFF FROM WORK.
(Thanks to Mr. Ben Sian for the links.)

Jul 12So…Zuda. Thoughts?
What do I think??? Why, I never thought you’d ask, sweetie!
There’s lots of thoughts out there, actually, but what isn’t mentioned quite so often is this simple truth of the internet:
CONTENT IS KING.
Allow me to repeat that, for the sake of those in the cheap seats:
CONTENT. IS. KING.
If DC Comics manages to find quality talent doing interesting work and showcase that work in a way that doesn’t scream “I’m a web design NIMROD,” the site will have worth, and hopefully be a success. If it’s cranks with Microsoft Paint, or even worse, print comics creators “slumming” in the online realm, it’s gonna be a tough road.
Everyone’s probably wise to frame the conversation in terms of creators’ rights, but creators’ rights don’t mean bunk if all they’re doing is keeping the bastard children of Rob Liefield from losing the valuable ownership of their poorly-drawn, poorly-conceived ideas.
Show me the comics. Then we’ll talk.
Emnity clause!
Jul 11My apartment was used in a short film a friend made for the Ultimate Gamer Test video contest (held by Gleemax.com and Wizards of the Coast) – my roommate features prominantly, as does my Ghostbusters themed Guitar Hero guitar, my shelves of copious stuff, and the very first t-shirt I ever screened (of which there exists exactly… one.)
I wish it was totally played for laughs, but to be honest, they do actually play like this.
