Hot Fuzz teasers
Oct 17We’re now officially close enough to next year’s release of Hot Fuzz (the new cop buddy comedy actioner by the makers of Shaun of the Dead) that teasers are now out. Hooray!
Yellow card and a warning for Teh Internets
Oct 16Just when I thought I’d seen everything, and didn’t need to claw my eyes out;
Ghostbusters/House MD slash fiction.
Excuse me, while I go tear my baby blues out.
The Avengers (British) for your ears (mp3)
Oct 13Always on the lookout for good stuff to load onto the ol’ Nano, I was excited when a friend sent me a link to this Avengers site – apparently, The Avengers TV series (you know, Emma Peel and Mr. Steed) was turned into a radio series. Better yet, someone has been working hard to find the best quality copies as possible and then make them available as MP3s. Wheee!
Other Stewie Recommendations;
The 99p Challenge – British panel game comedy.
Claybourne – New Zealand produced, supernatural drama.
Wait! Wait! Don’t tell me! – NPR news panel show.
Wierd Al: Random Rules
Oct 12Just wanted to point out The Onion AV Club article, with Wierd Al doing the random iPod shuffle. It’s kind of wierd, but outside the healthy dose of pop and rock I got via my mom, my first two purchases, on my own, as a music consumer, were Thriller and Dare To Be Stupid. I <3 Wierd Al.
WAY: What can I say about Hole? I actually really like this album [Celebrity Skin]. I’m not the biggest Courtney Love fan, but I do enjoy this album. Hitler made the trains run on time, what can I say?
Oh, K.I.T.T., you Q.U.E.E.N.
Oct 06Not that any of us are really surprised (unlike British university students, apparently) – I mean, it’s been a bit of a running gag forever. But still, the thought of it overtly existing on film somewhere is high-larious.
