I just discovered <a href=\"http:\/\/abc.go.com\/primetime\/isurvivedajapanesegameshow\/index?pn=index\">I Survived a Japanese Game Show<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A whackload of Americans perform crazy Japanese game show stunts on a show called majide (j-youth slang for &#8220;really?&#8221; &#8211; the host and audience yells the tag phrase, &#8220;majide&#8230; hai, majide!&#8221; Literally, &#8220;Really? Yeah, really!&#8221; complete with odd hand motion and letter-M gang sign) The only downside is all the typical reality show, behind-the-scenes crap. It&#8217;s only a matter of time before someone says &#8220;I&#8217;m not here to make friends&#8221; ruins it all.<\/p>\n<p>Why couldn&#8217;t we just have a show, exactly like this, without that shit. Most of it is coming from the site producers, and then played up in post anyhow. It&#8217;s not real.<\/p>\n<p>But the hanging out in Japan&#8230; oh, and the picking up stuffed bears as a giant human claw machine game&#8230; that&#8217;s fucking real!<br \/>\n<a href='http:\/\/alertnerd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/snapshot20080711211420.gif'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alertnerd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/snapshot20080711211420.gif\" alt=\"\" title=\"snapshot20080711211420\" width=\"400\" height=\"226\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1031\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also, watching the Japanese audience&#8217;s t-shirts is a drinking game waiting to happen. &#8220;I heart Guam!&#8221; &#8220;Oh Happy Day!&#8221; Every one of them a winner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Holy crap, I think I&#8217;ve fallen off the reality show wagon hard.
