Secret (Cylon) Invasion
Apr 03It’s early April, spring is stinking up the Central Florida humidity, and the megaevent season has begun yet again for comics fans. (Does it ever end anymore? Not really.)
As you’ll no doubt have noticed, every website on God’s green earth has chimed in with their Secret Invasion #1 review. Now it’s our turn.

Apr 03Today, random notes on last week’s books. No, not this past Wednesday; the Wednesday BEFORE that. I think. Batman Confidential, Green Lantern, Mighty Avengers, and Project Superpowers (which is way older than last week, I know).

Secret Invasion! Previews! Looks kinda…um…good?!
Mar 26All this chatter about Marvel_B0y and viral marketing, and it’s easy to forget that the actual Marvel summer event this buzz is promoting, Secret Invasion, starts next week.
There’s practically a whole issue’s worth of legitimate preview material out there already, which surprised me and pleased me. I like Bendis; I like his take on the Marvel Universe. I love this idea, and from what I’ve read so far, it looks really freaking good. I’m a sucker for a good event comic and this one smells like a winner.
But don’t take MY word for it–read it for yourself:
